there are some really stand out performances on this record if i may say so. anne marie zimakoff sings on the track “are you hiding”, and after that she basically went “into hiding” so this is a rare opportunity to get something physical with her voice on.

on “clouds” helle chirholm sings together with the fabulous khan-brothers from india. this song became very popular and are compiled again and again on Buddha Bar and many many other compilations over the years.

“yellow leaves” features the incredible creative guitar-playing by steen kyed whom i collaborated with a lot those years.

the track “golden” is inspired by zero 7 and kruder and dorfmeister which was a big influence at the time.

“secrets” is again written together with anne maria zimakoff and is a special song to me. i really love it, it has a special something.

4 twenty is written after a trip to NYC where i saw animal collective live in central park on a very pleasant highflying afternoon. helle chirholm also sings on this one, very special and unique vocals.
